Step One:

Choose the Flashpoint Gold Standard package by selecting "Buy" and filling in the required essay and payment information.

Step Two:

A Flashpoint editor will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your essay to let you know that the process is underway and collect any necessary background information.

Step Three:

You will collaborate with your editor via email or telephone to construct and outline of how your personal statement might read.  Your editor will give you specific point-by-point guidance on issues of structure, content, and style and send you a written outline from which you can work.

Step Four:

Using that outline as a guide, you put together a rough draft of your personal statement and send it to your editor for further review and polish.


Step Five:

Within five or six days of receiving your draft (usually sooner), your Flashpoint editor will send you a thoroughly revised version of your essay.

Step Six:

Review your essay and make additional changes as you see fit.

Step Seven:

Resubmit your essay to your Flashpoint editor (if necessary)so that they can review your changes.

Step Eight:

Your editor will review your work and return your final draft within a day or two.

Step Nine:

Submit your perfect, polished personal statement to the schools of your choice.
