Flashpoint Education is always on the lookout for talented new team members. Our writers and editors begin as freelancers; they can work from anywhere and make their own hours. All applicants must have a BA or higher from an accredited four year institution and be well acquainted with the college and graduate school application process. Writers and editors knowledgeable about medical and technical fields are especially interesting to us, but this is certainly not a prerequisite to employment. The single most important criterion is writing ability: we expect excellence. Our writing staff interacts with our client base, so an ability to converse professionally and personably, both over the telephone and through email, is essential. Additionally, it is important to realize that as a representative of Flashpoint, your writing must conform to certain stylistic and technical guidelines. Please do not apply if you are uncomfortable making a few prescribed changes to the way you write. Although Flashpoint is based in Los Angeles, we are happy to consider writers and editors based elsewhere in the US.
