Georgetown Application Essays

It may have been founded a few hundred years ago, but as a top research university nestled in the nation's capital, Georgetown remains a vital and highly sought after college destination.  But much to the chagrin of prospective students, Georgetown does not use the Common App and as a result applicants are required to draft two separate essays, one open form and the other varying by school.  While most students recognize the importance of completing a personal statement that demonstrates an understanding of Georgetown and their possible place at the school, it remains an elusive goal for students already saddled with classes and a large handful of other applications.  If you're having trouble getting the words out, we're here to help.

Flashpoint enables students to work individually with a top writer or editor to conceptualize, draft, and revise a perfect response to both of Georgetown's essay prompts.  Regardless of whether you're in need of a minor polish or you can't quite figure out where to start, we offer a package designed to meet your needs and help you gain admission to Georgetown and other top universities.  We believe that we offer the best writing and editing services you will find anywhere.  In fact, we're so sure of it that we stand behind all of our work with a total satisfaction guarantee.  Your writer or editor will guide you step by step through the writing process and provide as many revisions as you feel are necessary.  We won't stop working until you tell us your statement is perfect.  At Flashpoint, we know the difference that self-expression can make and we pride ourselves in helping to create personal statements that change the way you are seen by admissions committees.

Flashpoint Checkup - $189

Perfect for the essay that needs a little push to make it across the finish line. This is the option that turns a good personal statement into a great one. (How it works)

Flashpoint Final Draft - $299

This is the package to choose if you have a finished draft that isn’t working. A Flashpoint editor will review your personal statement and work with you directly by email to determine which structural and stylistic changes will allow you to communicate your message. Together you and your editor will review your essay paragraph by paragraph and very often line by line. There is no limit to the time you can spend working with your editor. Once you are ready to move forward, you may complete another draft and submit it to the same editor to review your progress and receive additional feedback. (How it works)

Flashpoint Gold Standard - $399

The best of the best in personal statement writing. If you’re not sure where to begin, a Flashpoint editor will get to know your history and your goals and the two of you will work together to outline a personal statement sure to set you apart from the competition.  You will need to write the rough draft, but we will work with you to turn that rough draft into a completed, professional-quality essay.  Please note that due to concerns about plagiarism we do not offer written-from-scratch personal statements. (How it works)
